YOUR LIBRARY / PDFs, images & EPUBPreparing offline mode…
MAKE A LITTLE SPACE

Your quiet
reading corner.

Bring a PDF, images, CBZ or EPUB. Pick up where you left off.
Your books stay in this browser.

Start here

  1. Try the original sample, or import a PDF, images, CBZ or DRM-free EPUB (up to 20 MB per title).
  2. Wait for App ready to open offline before disconnecting. This confirms the app is saved. It does not confirm that every book is available offline. Open a book and use Save position before closing.
  3. Export a backup after importing or reading. Verify the download saved; it contains your titles and positions.

Use this same browser profile and site address to find your shelf. Installation adds an app window; it does not add cloud sync or protect against cleared browser data.

Install & offline help

If your browser offers installation, use Install app or its app/install menu. Otherwise keep a bookmark. A secure HTTPS or localhost address is required for offline mode; file:// will not work.

iPhone: Add to Home Screen
  1. In Safari, tap Share. If needed, open the page menu first, then choose Share.
  2. Choose Add to Home Screen, turn on Open as Web App if offered, then tap Add.
  3. Open the new icon while online and sign in if asked. Check that your books and saved places are available before relying on it offline.

The Home Screen app may use separate website data and sign-in from your Safari tab. Do not assume your existing books will appear there. Download a backup from your current library first; import your books or restore the backup in the new app if needed. Restoring replaces that app library.

Adding the icon does not download books, add sync or guarantee permanent storage. App readiness confirms the app assets only. Save your place and test the books you need offline. An expired sign-in may require an internet connection; offline access after expiry has not been verified.

Checking app display mode.

Updates download online and wait while any app window is open.

Before an update: save your position, export a backup, close every Floating Sakura tab and app window, wait a few seconds, then reopen. Reopening the same address and profile retains browser-local books. Offline reading needs one successful online visit first.

On your shelf 0

A library that feels like yours.

Import a CBZ comic and review its page order before adding it.

Import limits

CBZ files can contain JPEG, PNG or WebP images only. The CBZ file and its extracted contents must each be 20 MB or less, with no more than 200 pages. Review the page order before importing.

Local by design.

Opening browser storage…

Your library is saved in this browser at this web address. Clearing website data, or your browser removing it to free space, can erase it. Private browsing may lose it when you close the window.

Your browser may decline. Keep a backup even if it agrees.

A COPY YOU CONTROL

Keep your place safe.

A backup contains your titles and saved positions. It is an unencrypted file; keep it somewhere you control.

No automatic sync or cloud copy.

REVIEW BEFORE RESTORING

Replace this browser library?

The backup below will replace all titles and progress in this prototype's library. Other apps and desktop libraries are not affected.

Backups without custom covers restore the existing placeholders. Cover backups require this version or newer.
